The Department of Forensic Science at Soundarya Institute of Management and Science has given one of the best practical exposures in terms of quality education and experience. Under the guidance of our head of the department Dr. Nagalakshmi G, I had the chance to present research papers across prestigious universities. The department was very supportive in boosting up my confidence in presenting my first ever working protype on Carbon Monoxide Sensors. We were given with value added program in Information Security Auditing for enhancing our skills in the field of Computer Forensics. Quality industrial/ Research Institutions Visits and Internship at the State Forensic Science Laboratory, Bangalore was the highlights of the B.Sc. Forensic Science journey. As being the first batch to pass out as the graduate, the immense support from the Department, Principal and the Management has driven me back to Soundarya Institute of Management and Science to pursue post-graduation in Forensic Science again.
